Last Statement Of Swami Atmajyotirananda
(translated from
the original in Malayalam)
1] Sameepyam! Saroopyam! Sayujyam! I am in the company
of my Lord! I am one with my Lord! I am immersed in
the Bliss of my Lord!
2] I see the beatific form of my Guru, Bodhananda
sarasvati, of Bodhananda Ashram!
3] My Guru recognizes my spiritual nature and respects
my attainments, but I often fail to recognize my own
spiritual glory!
4] My Guru has promised me that the spiritual and
material well being of my family-my children and grand
children, nephews and nieces will be taken care of
by guru's grace.
5] That promise we depend on, that promise is unshakable,
Guru helps us even out of his way, nobody has to look
beyond that promise.
6] For the last 50 years I was concerned with my children-
their happiness, unhappiness and spiritual progress.
Now that I am leaving, it is up to them.
7] Fifty and Eighty Seven! Hundred and Thirty Seven
Years! For the organization! With out breaking rules!
Beyond organizations! This organization will grow
to be the biggest in Asia!
8] For the time being only those who understand me
need respect me.
9] Why are my hands bound? Release me! Liberate me!
[ Swami was being given intravenous drip].
10] My soul has already left! Bathe this body! Lay
it on the floor! Light the Lamp! Birth is despicable!
Food is despicable! Self is Free! Self is the only
Truth! The wise knows the Self! The ignorant doesn't
know the Self! The wise doesn't desire power or fame!
The only reality is the Self!
11] Meditate, Realize that Truth and live in the Light
of that Truth! Such wise men are ever victorious!
Immortal! Untainted! Then is there any thing else
to be known?
12] I am the Self! I am Brahman! Truth! Truth! Truth!
Nearness! Sameness! Bliss! I am the Self ever Liberated!
I am the Self! Self I am! Supremely Pure! Supreme
Bliss Truth consciousness Bliss I am!
13] " So'ham, Hamsa, Hamsa, So'ham; Shivo'ham,
Hamsa; Shivo'ham, Hamsa; Hamsa, So'ham; Hamsa, So'ham;
Hamsa; Hamsa; Hamsa; Hamsa; hamsa; hamsa!
At
about 5.50 PM [ May 4, 2008] while He was uttering
the last words 'Hamsa' 'Hamsa' the voice became feeble
and slowly fell silent.
Swami Atmajyotirananda merged with Brahman, the Paramatman.
